One of the best musical groups of the Republic of Korea gave a concert in Tashkent.

The bright colors of the Korean national costumes, graceful movements of traditional dance, colorful bouquet of fans — all this was seen by the audience who visited the concert of the National centre of traditional Korean music, held on June 6 at the Palace of “Turkiston” in Tashkent.

The performance of one of the best teams of the Republic of Korea was organized with the support of the Embassy of this country in Uzbekistan and the Korean Foundation for international exchange.

The center was created specifically for the promotion of Korean traditional art. In Tashkent, was presented his main repertoire, which allowed the viewer to feel the whole palette of feelings and beauty of this art.

First in the concert program was presented to a room ’s DaPena” — “Dance on the well-being”. Two soloists of the dance are dressed in historic outfits of the king and Queen, hair of the dancer corresponds to the “kanmuri” — the distinctive headdress of the Royal person. A dance based on shamanistic rituals, amazing special plastic, which can show not even a movement, but only his image. This particular position of the hands, which seem to float above the dancers, and graceful, almost imperceptible movements of the body.

In the second concert the room was easily discernible, whose style is emulated by the dancers. Cautious tread and the sharp movements of the head, wave hands like wings — all distinctly reminiscent of the movement of the crane. Name of dance “Conahec-chum” is translated — “dance of the crane”. These sharp movements from generation to generation is in the area of Tone of Busan. The modern version is based on ancient dance “Goteki-chum”, which was performed in this area only men. The tradition continues today, the dance stands out not only sweeping movements, and special costumes “Topo”.

The concert program included musical performance with traditional instrument “kayagum”, which is one of the favorite among Koreans. In the Palace “Turkiston” sounded “sanjo” or solo work for “gayageum”. It is also called “flower traditional music”, for “sanjo” allows players to demonstrate great skill and Express your feelings.

One of the highlights of the concert was the dance with the use of the sword — “Hanany PI” — “the Tragedy of Huancan”. He goes back to the Palace ceremonial dance with a sword and allows you to show a wonderful combination of skillful techniques of swordsmanship and choreographic plasticity.

The thunder of the audience’s applause went to the famous “Dancing with fans” — “Puche-chum”. Performance numbers have proven that the staff of the National centre of traditional Korean music, is a virtuoso of the dance art of this people. According to experts, the “fan Dance” incorporates two elements — elements of shamanic rituals, which at first was used the fan and a Palace ritual dances. Their symbiosis has led to the remarkable phenomenon, which was in traditional Korean culture “fan Dance”. The performance of various teams allows the viewer to enjoy his special reading of every ensemble.

Another very revealing dance Korean tradition is “Solchaga-chum” — “Dance to the drums”. The elegance and professionalism of the dancers to enable them to give ease of movements with the drum, which is both a tool and element of the dance at the same time.

Tashkent spectators saw several bright rooms that complement the palette of traditional Korean art.

The evening was not only a feast of art but also the discovery of the history and culture of the friendly people, which maintains close cooperation with Uzbekistan in various spheres.
