One of the important stages in a person’s life is the wedding, marriage and the beginning of family life. Like any other major event, the wedding is shrouded in various customs and traditions. Customs vary from country to country and social status of the newlyweds, but some of these traditions international. Of course, in wedding customs can not believe it, but to trace the history of their origin is quite interesting.
The exchange of rings
The custom of exchanging rings came to us from very ancient times. Even the ancient Egyptians changed rings and after this ritual became husband and wife. The ring meant a loyalty to each other for life. However, the Egyptians wore the ring on the middle finger of the right hand, so believed that there is a kind of artery of love. In some Asian countries still wear wedding rings on the middle finger.
In many countries there is a custom to beat the dishes at the wedding. This, oddly enough, original Russian custom. On the second day of the wedding beat clay pots to check the chastity of the bride. If the pot was broken into many pieces, so the bride before the wedding was immaculate. The more pieces – the happier they promised to be married.

Concert of traditional Korean art was held in the capital
One of the best musical groups of the Republic of Korea gave a concert in Tashkent.
The bright colors of the Korean national costumes, graceful movements of traditional dance, colorful bouquet of fans — all this was seen by the audience who visited the concert of the National centre of traditional Korean music, held on June 6 at the Palace of “Turkiston” in Tashkent.
The performance of one of the best teams of the Republic of Korea was organized with the support of the Embassy of this country in Uzbekistan and the Korean Foundation for international exchange.
The center was created specifically for the promotion of Korean traditional art. In Tashkent, was presented his main repertoire, which allowed the viewer to feel the whole palette of feelings and beauty of this art.
First in the concert program was presented to a room ’s DaPena” — “Dance on the well-being”.
